You can access the empowering Freedom Programme via various women’s charities such as Derby Women’s Centre, which also offers counselling and befriending services and women’s social groups, and online; the programme examines the attitudes and beliefs of abusive men and the responses of victims and survivors, helping to make sense of what has been experienced and to recognize the signs of unhealthy behaviours in future.
